Vienna Community Center adjacent to WO Trail

The Vienna Community Center is home to the Town of Vienna Parks and Recreation Department and serves as a primary gathering place for Town residents.  The facility is located in the heart of Vienna, adjacent to the W&OD Trail .

The community center is the perfect place to play drop-in sports, take a walk or class, hold a party, take in a performance, or just enjoy time with family, friends, and neighbors.

The community center also has many multipurpose rooms that the public may rent or receptions, meetings, parties, and classes.

No daytime drop-in pickleball in June, July and August due to camps. No evening drop in pickleball late November until mid-March.

Memorial Day

  • Adult Pickleball Only: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Labor Day and Juneteenth

  • Adult Pickleball: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Youth Basketball
    Middle and High School: 1:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
    Elementary: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, and Veterans Day

  • 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Adult Basketball and Volleyball: 7 - 10:30 p.m.
  • Youth Basketball: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Middle and High School: 1:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.
  • Elementary: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.

Artists interested in exhibiting their work at the Vienna Community Center must complete and submit an Application for Exhibiting Art at the Community Center(PDF, 92KB).

Policy for exhibiting art at the community center

Before applying to display artwork, please review the Vienna Community Center Exhibit Policy(PDF, 97KB) to ensure that the proposed exhibit meets all requirements.

All artists, organizations, or schools wishing to exhibit artwork at the community center must commit to displaying their artwork for the full four-month exhibit window assigned. Although the community center is monitored by staff and security cameras, insurance for the artwork is the responsibility of the artist, organization, or school submitting the work. All applicants must sign an agreement holding the Town harmless for liability due to damage, destruction, or theft.

Prohibited work

The Town prohibits display of artwork at the community center that includes, but is not limited to, the following subject matter:

  • graphic depictions of sexuality or violence
  • nudity or suggestive poses
  • work that appears designed to ridicule deeply held beliefs or to disparage others for their race, gender or sexual identity, ethnicity, nationality, etc.
