The gymnasiums at the Vienna Community Center host recreational activities for residents and visitors.

Join us for a friendly game during a scheduled drop-in! It's a great way to stay active and connect with the community.

Update: ***Beginning April 1, 2026 all open gym participants under age 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian to take part in Youth Open Gym. 
 Register online here. 
Registration is: 
-Free for residents and non-residents
-Used to collect emergency contact information and ensure safe participation

**Typical gymnasium drop-in schedule
Adult Basketball Wednesday 8 - 10 p.m.
Adult Volleyball Monday, Friday 8 - 10 p.m.
*Adult Pickleball
 Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Thursday 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
***Elementary and Middle School Basketball Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3:15 - 5:15 p.m.
***High School Basketball Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3:15 - 5:15 p.m.

* No daytime drop-in pickleball in June, July and August due to camps. No evening drop in pickleball late November until mid-March. 

** All drop-in schedules subject to change see monthly calendar below for more details.

Wondering if your favorite drop-in sport is happening today? The typical weekly schedule for drop-in sports at the Vienna Community Center is above. However, drop-in sports are subject to change based on building rentals, special events and holidays.

Special holiday drop-in hours

Community Center closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day and July 4th.

Drop in hours for Memorial Day, Labor Day, Juneteenth, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day, Veterans Day

  • Adult Pickleball: 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Basketball
        Middle and High School: 1:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
        Elementary: 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
