Trying to pay a bill online? The Town online payment portal is back in business. Due to the technical difficulties earlier this week, the business license renewal deadline has been extended to Friday, March 6, 2026. No late fees will be assessed to businesses that renew their licenses by March 6.

Completed in fall 2019, the Town’s Maple Avenue Corridor Multimodal Transportation and Land Use Study examined transportation challenges and opportunities along Vienna’s main commercial corridor. Now the Town is poised to undertake some of the study’s near and mid-term recommendations, identified as top priorities by the community.
The interactive study process, which included public engagement opportunities and covered about a six-month span, was led by Kimley-Horn. The effort captured current travel conditions in the study area (Maple Avenue from James Madison Drive to Follin Lane and Church Street from Lawyers Road to East Street as well as Courthouse Road and Locust Street) and offered recommendations for enhancing the travel experience for all – drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and those using public transit.
While the Town has not yet determined which recommendations to implement, project suggestions included:
