Planning & Zoning The Department of Planning and Zoning maintains and enforces regulations that ensure the Town of Vienna grows and develops in ways that support the Town’s vision.

Permits & Applications The Department of Planning and Zoning accepts permit applications for the Town review process and, in coordination with the departments of Public Works and Parks and Recreation, reviews site plans and Fairfax County building permit applications for compliance with the Town of Vienna Zoning Code (Chapter 18) and other applicable Town regulations.

Compliance The Town’s zoning compliance officer investigates reported violations, related to Chapter 13, Chapter 13.A, and Chapter 18 of the Town Code, and works with property owners to achieve compliance through education about the Town’s ordinances.
