Vienna's Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks

Fireworks begin at dark (approximately 9:30 p.m.)

Celebrate Independence Day and Vienna’s fourth annual Liberty Amendments Month featuring live music, kids entertainment, food trucks, and fun for the whole family!

Entertainment Schedule

6 p.m. - Kids performer: Taiko Japanese Drums
6:45 p.m. - Vienna Community Band (small ensemble)
7:20 p.m. - Ocho de Bastos - Latin Pop Rock
9:15 p.m. - Welcome from Mayor Colbert and National Anthem Performance by Vienna Youth Players
9:30 p.m. - Vienna's spectacular Fireworks show

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the picnic-like atmosphere at the park. Please note:

  • Alcohol is prohibited.
  • No sparklers/fireworks.
  • Pets are strictly prohibited.
  • No glass containers allowed.
  • Chairs are not permitted on the baseball fields.

Independence Day Street Closures

4 to 11 p.m.

  • Ross Drive from Cottage Street to Patrick Street
    Note: Ross Drive between Southside Park and Patrick Street will be completely shut down from 5:30-11 p.m. with no through traffic permitted.

6 to 11 p.m.

  • Ross Drive from Patrick Street to George Street

  • Patrick Street and George Street between Cottage Street and Ross Drive
    Homeowners will be given access to their homes from Cottage Street.
