Kingsley Road SW (Frederick to DeSale) Sidewalk
In September 2010, following a public hearing, Town Council authorized application to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for a Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) grant to complete sidewalks on all streets within a one-mile radius of the Vienna Metro Station. This is a federal grant that assists in completing projects that are regionally significant and provide transportation options to facilitate the use of mass transit.
This project completes all missing sections of sidewalk along Kingsley Road, SW, from Nutley Street to DeSale Street, SW.
