Bear Branch - Southside Park Stream Restoration

This project will restore approximately 1,900 linear feet of natural stream and stabilize the steep, eroded stream banks along Bear Branch from Cottage Street SW downstream to I-66.  This stretch of stream runs parallel to Patrick Street SW and George C. Yeonas Park.  The completed project will reduce sedimentation and improve the stream's water quality using natural channel design techniques.
