Doug Francis was first elected to serve on the Vienna Town Council in the November 2025 General Election. He has lived in Vienna since 1996 and has a long record of civic involvement including the Vienna Arts Society, North East Vienna Citizens Association, Vienna Lacrosse and the Wolftrap Elementary PTA.
Doug earned a bachelor's degree (BA) in History from Boston University, and he is a licensed real estate agent. He is married has two adult children. In his spare time, Doug enjoys photography, tennis, gardening and exploring parks and museums.
