Payment options

Payment for water and sewer services may be submitted via any of the following methods:

Online
- Via e-check.
- Via credit or debit card (a convenience fee of 3% will apply to credit or debit card transactions).
- Via electronic funds transfer (no fee)
Bill pay through your financial institution
- These payments may or may not be received electronically depending on your financial institution. It may take 5-15 days for the Town to receive your payment if your institution sends a physical check in the mail.
- You must provide your account number on the check.
- The remittance address should be: Town of Vienna, P.O. Box 549, Vienna, Va. 22183.

Dropped-off check via the night depository located in the front door of Town Hall.
Check or cash in person at the finance counter in Town Hall during regular business hours, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Billing schedule

The Town of Vienna is divided into six water meter reading cycles. Usage is billed on a quarterly basis, and are due the last day of the month following the bill date. The cycle number is the first digit of your account number.

Cycle 1 or 2: March, June, September, December
Cycle 3, 4, or 5: February, May, August, November
Cycle 6: January, April, July, October

Change of address

"If you need to update your mailing address you can do so while logged into the Utility Billing payment portal (https://viennava.gov/CSSPORTAL) in the Account detail section. Alternatively, you can contact our office at water@viennava.gov or (703) 255-6385 with updated contact information.

If you have moved and wish to terminate services in your name/start services at a new location in the town, then please submit the appropriate form(s) found on our customer service page (Customer Service | Town of Vienna, Va.)."

Cycle 6 users fall under Fairfax County's sewer jurisdiction, and rates are set by Fairfax County.
