Sarah Walker Mercer Park

With a rain garden, walking paths, and seating, this beautifully maintained park honors the late Sarah Walker Mercer, a beloved neighborhood figure often considered a "mother of the neighborhood." Also included in this park is a memorial tree planted to honor Maxine Shelley Turner, a victim of the 2007 Virginia Tech shooting tragedy.
