Held each spring since 1974, Walk on the Hill is perhaps Vienna's loveliest event, offering self-guided tours through approximately 50 participating yards and gardens in Vienna's historic Windover Heights neighborhood. Come to the Walk on the Hill on April 30 (Windover Heights neighborhood) not only to enjoy lovely gardens, live entertainment, and refreshments, but also to learn more about efforts of the Community Enhancement Commission to make Vienna more sustainable at the Green Expo. You can visit a home with solar panels purchased through the Solarize Vienna 2015 program, discuss the system with the homeowner, and learn about Solarize Vienna 2017.
