The Administrative Division of the Parks and Recreation Department provides staffing and administrative support to carry out the daily operations of the department and to provide leadership, vision and management to facilitate the provision of effective and efficient parks and recreation services. Located at the Vienna Community Center, we provide customer service to handle program registration, facility rentals and payments, park and facility inquiries and special event information.

We provide support to community organizations to promote involvement in special events and park maintenance such as:
  • Church Street Stroll
  • Community Shredding Day
  • Green Expo
  • Halloween Parade
  • Harvest Bazaar
  • July 4th Festival and Fireworks Show
  • Oktoberfest
  • Scout and Church Service Projects
  • Street Tree Planting
  • Town Cleanup Days and Invasive Removal Programs
  • Town Green Concert Series
  • Viva Vienna

In addition we review and approve subdivision and single-lot landscape plans as outlined in the Tree Preservation and Planting Specification Manual.
