Inoperative Vehicles
The Town of Vienna is committed to providing residents with a healthy environment and aesthetically pleasing surroundings. To this end, the Town Code seeks to identify and regulate inoperative motor vehicles on any residential or commercial property within the town limits.

An inoperative motor vehicle is defined as any motor vehicle, trailer or semitrailer that:
  • Displays neither valid license plates nor a valid inspection decal
  • Has been partially or totally disassembled by the removal of tires and wheels, the engine, or other essential parts required for operation for a period of 60 days or longer
  • Is not in operating condition

Town Code
In order to keep your property in compliance with the Town Code, all vehicles on your property must either:
  • Be operative and display valid license plates and inspection decal
  • Be shielded or screened from view by an auto cover (one vehicle per property)
  • Be parked within a fully enclosed structure
  • Display storage tags purchased from the town (one vehicle per property)
