Emergency Notification Registry for Residents
As a service to town residents, the Vienna Police Department maintains a voluntary emergency notification registry to facilitate prompt and proper contact with a next of kin or other designated person in the event of an emergency. The information provided by will be used by police personnel only.

Notification Registry for Businesses
As a service to town businesses, the Vienna Police Department maintains a notification registry to facilitate prompt and proper contact with designated personnel in the event of an emergency or police related incident at the business location.

House Check Request
As a service to residents of the town, the Vienna Police Department provides a House Check Request Form. This form allows a homeowner to notify the department when they will be away from their house for vacation or other reasons.

Inclement Weather Registry Program
The Town of Vienna Police Department and the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department have united to implement the Inclement Weather Registry program. In the event of severe weather, widespread power outages or widespread hazardous road conditions, a check on the welfare telephone call list can be activated and, if needed, a temporary emergency shelter can be opened. The shelter could be kept in operation until either the Fairfax County Disaster Operations Center opens a shelter or until the weather situation resolves itself.

Vienna Community Alerts
Residents and interested persons can sign up to receive Town of Vienna Police Department information and emergency notices via email and SMS text through Vienna Community Alert, the town’s notification system.
