Quarterly Recycling Day: automotive, electronics and scrap metal
Four times a year, the Public Works Department hosts a Quarterly Recycling Day from 8 am-noon typically on the first Saturday of March, June, September and December. The event takes place at the Northside Property Yard, which may be accessed via 600 Mill Street NE (entrance is at the dead end of the street) and 600 Glyndon Street NE. Public Works offers these events as a service to residents to help them dispose of items that aren't accepted in curbside recycling in a way that is convenient and environmentally responsible.
