Pedestrian Advisory Committee
The Pedestrian Advisory Committee (PAC) serves as an advisory committee to the Town of Vienna's Transportation Safety Commission (TSC). The PAC provides citizen input in planning pedestrian infrastructure improvements and promotes pedestrian initiatives within the Town of Vienna. The PAC reports directly to the TSC, who then reviews any recommendations and reports to Town Council.

A Vienna Pedestrian Master Plan was adopted by Town Council in April 2015 and allows enforcement of a new ordinance that requires developers to dedicate land for future sidewalks.Complete pedestrian networks provide safe routes for children and adults to walk or bike to destinations, eliminating motor vehicle trips. Walking and biking promote healthy lifestyles as well as neighborhood cohesiveness and encourage residents to patronize local Vienna businesses.

The PAC meets every other month (alternating months with the Bicycle Advisory Committee [BAC] before the regularly scheduled TSC meeting, which is held the last Tuesday of each month except December). Work sessions are held on non-meeting months. Joint meetings with the BAC or TSC may be held as deemed necessary by the TSC.

Meetings begin at 7 pm in Council Chambers at Town Hall.
