Police Department Assessment
Police Department Facility Needs Assessment
The Town of Vienna is currently undergoing a needs assessment for the Police Department facility located at 215 Center Street S.  The assessment includes a space needs, site feasibility and conceptual design study for the expansion of the current facility, which houses the Town's public safety operations.

History
The Vienna Police Department has been located at 215 Center Street S since 1994 when the current building containing a total of 9,800 gross square feet a 24-space parking lot was erected.  In 2007, due to expanding operations and increased technology requirements, the Criminal Investigations Section was relocated to Town Hall.  Currently, the Police Department occupies 1800 square feet in Town Hall.

The assessment is intended to determine the amount and location of space necessary for the current needs as well as projected space needs for both ten and twenty years into the future.  In addition, it will identify what design options are possible to renovate and expand the current facility.
