Welcome to Vienna’s new website! Over the last year, staff has been busy working behind the scenes to bring to you a new, easier way to get information about and from the Town of Vienna. As you acquaint yourself with the new site, be sure to take advantage of all the new features available through this online portal.
  • Council Corner: To begin with, this is the Council Corner, a new website feature that will discuss topics and issues from the Town Council’s perspective. We hope that you will check back with us on a monthly basis and to register with Notify Me so you’ll get notified when a new blog is posted!
  • Notify Me: On the front page of the website (and on every page within) you’ll notice an icon that says “Notify Me.” This feature allows you to subscribe to different areas of the website. If there is an area of particular interest to you, you’ll get an automated message when that area has been updated. We plan on continuing to expand the available categories, so be sure to check back and see what we’ve added. Also, Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds are available, which allow you to subscribe and receive notification through RSS when website pages, the calendar, alerts, the blog and news sections have been updated.
  • Community Alerts: Vienna Community Alerts are still here! If you’ve already signed up to receive Vienna Community Alerts, you will continue to receive those notifications. If you haven’t, sign up today!
  • FAQs: You can find answers to your most frequently asked questions here! Each Department has answered questions that they get on a regular basis and put them in this one stop spot for residents to access. We’re always adding, so let us know if you have a question that you’d like to see answered on our site!
  • Events: You can see what’s coming up in Town in the events section located on the front page. We even have a section for non-profit and community organizations to post their events! Just select the “Submit an Event” icon on the calendar page and your event will be sent to the Public Information Office to be posted.
There are also several features that we’ll be rolling out in the coming months including the “Report a Concern” section. This section will allow you to submit an issue online and track it to its completion. Administratively, it will allow staff to generate a work order, assign it to the appropriate department and complete the request online.

As technology progresses, the website will evolve and continuously provide additional features that residents desire and that will help create a more efficient and responsive Town government.

We hope you enjoy the new website! If you have any suggestions, let us know by contacting the Public Information Officer.
