REQUEST AUTHORIZATION TO RIDE FAIRFAX COUNTY CONTRACT RQ07-913811-41A, FOR ONE 2009 TRUCK, DUMP BODY WITH CRANE LOADER, FOR THE STREET MAINTENANCE DIVISION, UNDER THE APPROVED FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009 VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM IN AN ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $197,250.00.
(Council consideration to ride this Fairfax County contract to purchase a replacement “Knuckle Boom” truck from Western Star Trucks of Delmarva, LLC for the Department of Public Works.)

REQUEST APPROVAL TO AWARD IFB 09-07, FOR TWO CAB & CHASSIS WITH 17 FOOT DUMP BODIES, TO VOLVO & GMC TRUCK CENTER, UNDER THE TOWN OF VIENNA VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM, FOR THE STREET MAINTENANCE DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, IN AN ESTIMATED TOTAL AMOUNT OF $240,402.40.
(Council consideration to purchase two new dump trucks from the lowest responsive bidder, in order to replace two old trucks.)

REQUEST APPROVAL TO AWARD IFB 09-08, FOR ONE CAB & CHASSIS WITH 10 FOOT DUMP BODY, TO VOLVO & GMC TRUCK CENTER, UNDER THE TOWN OF VIENNA VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM, FOR THE WATER AND SEWER DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, IN AN ESTIMATED TOTAL AMOUNT OF $75,339.38.

SET DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF VIENNA, CHAPTER 18, ZONING, ARTICLE 2, SECTION 18-4, BY ADDING A NEW DEFINITION FOR PORTABLE STORAGE CONTAINER, AND TO ARTICLE 17, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 18-152.3 PORTABLE STORAGE CONTAINER.
