5. REQUEST FOR RENEWAL OF HISTORIC VIENNA, INCORPORATED’S FIVE YEAR LEASE ON THE FREEMAN HOUSE, THE ORIGINAL LIBRARY BUILDING, AND THE GROUNDS AT 131 CHURCH STREET, N.E.
(Consideration to renew the current lease between the Town of Vienna and Historic Vienna, Inc. which will expire at the end of February.)

6. SET DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED NEW RENTAL RATES FOR THE VIENNA COMMUNITY CENTER.
(Consideration to set a Public Hearing on the Community Center rental rates, which are evaluated every five years.)
Public Hearing set for March 17, 2008.
7. REQUEST ADDITIONAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FUNDS IN AN ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $3,000.00 FOR THE BRANCH ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.
(Request for funding over the original estimate, because the road was found to be unstable and in poor condition, and required a buildup of asphalt.)

8. REQUEST APPROVAL TO CONTINUE RIDING ARLINGTON COUNTY CONTRACT IFB 439-06 WITH DOUBLE H LOCATES LLC OF MARSHALL, VIRGINIA, FOR UNDERGROUND UTILITY MARKING. (THE FUNDING WAS APPROVED ON JUNE 4, 2007.)
(Council consideration to take advantage of the pricing on this Council of Governments contract which has been extended until November 2009.)

9. REQUEST APPROVAL TO RIDE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION CONTRACT TO PURCHASE TWO 10 FOOT HYDRAULIC, 5.5 CUBIC YARD TRUCK MOUNTED SPREADERS FROM HENDERSON MANUFACTURING, INC. OF MANCHESTER, IOWA, UNDER THE TOWN’S VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE STREET MAINTENANCE DIVISION, WITH AN ESTIMATED COST OF $32,600.00.
(Council consideration to take advantage of the pricing on this statewide VDOT contract for road surface treating equipment.)

10. ADOPTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF VIENNA, CHAPTER 11, PERSONNEL: ARTICLE 1, DEFINITIONS; ARTICLE 2, COMPENSATION; ARTICLE 3, LEAVE, AND ARTICLE 4, GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES.
(A duly advertised Public Hearing was held at the Town Council meeting of January 28, 2008, and the proposed amendments to Chapter 11 were approved.)

11. SET DATE FOR CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS A MATTER OF LITIGATION.
(The Town Attorney has requested to meet with the Members of Council in Closed Session.)

12. REQUEST TO REFER PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF VIENNA, CHAPTER 18, ZONING, TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION, REGARDING THE BOARDING OF SMALL ANIMALS AT ANIMAL HOSPITALS.
(Consideration to refer the proposed changes to the Planning Commission.)
