5. REQUEST APPROVAL TO PURCHASE FOUR CROWN VICTORIA POLICE INTERCEPTORS, 2008 MODELS, UNDER THE TOWN OF VIENNA VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM, AT A TOTAL COST OF $106,489.40.
(Council consideration to approve the replacement of 4 Police cars, per the Town’s Vehicle Replacement Program.)

REQUEST AUTHORIZATION TO RIDE TOWN OF LEESBURG CONTRACT IFB NUMBER 100313-FY07-01 IN ORDER TO PURCHASE ONE 2008 FORD F550 4X2 TRUCK CHASSIS, EQUIPPED WITH #210 ALTEC MODEL AT37-C TELESCOPING/ARTICULATING AERIAL DEVICE, FROM ALTEC INDUSTRIES, INC., UNDER THE APPROVED TOWN OF VIENNA VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM, FOR USE BY THE GENERAL MAINTENANCE DIVISION OF PUBLIC WORKS.
(Council consideration to replace a 14 year old “Cherry Picker” truck, needed by the Department of Public Works, at an estimated cost of $75,570.00.)

7. REQUEST APPROVAL TO USE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS (CIP) BOND FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SIDEWALKS AT 200 AND 202 MCHENRY STREET, S.E., UNDER CONTRACT IFB 05-10, ‘ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES’ FROM SAGRES CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, WITH AN ESTIMATED COST OF $24,869.17.
(Council consideration to approve new sidewalks there, which will complete a short gap that remains on McHenry Street, S.E. across from Cunningham Park Elementary School, and is included in the Town’s sidewalk priority list.)

REQUEST APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE TOWN MANAGER AS THE SIGNATORY FOR FUNDING AGREEMENTS WITH THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (VDOT), AND REQUEST APPROVAL FOR $75,000.00 FROM THE CONGESTION MITIGATION AND AIR QUALITY PROGRAM FUNDS, FOR WHICH THE TOWN OF VIENNA WILL BE REIMBURSED IN FULL BY VDOT.
(Council consideration to make the Town Manager the one person authorized to sign for the Town in any Standard Project Administration Agreements with VDOT.)
