5. PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE TOWN CODE, CHAPTER 18, ZONING, ARTICLE 11, C-1, LOCAL COMMERCIAL ZONE REGULATIONS; SECTION 18-73, SPECIAL CONDITIONAL LIMITATIONS, RELATED TO APARTMENTS LOCATED IN COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS.

(Council will conduct a Public Hearing to consider possible changes in mixed-use development zoning regulations.)
Public Hearing Closed; Ordinance disapproved.






6. CONTRACT TO ATCS, P.L.C., ENGINEERING, PLANNING, AND SURVEYING, TO DO A TOWN WIDE TRAFFIC CALMING STUDY, FOR THE AMOUNT OF $40,000.00.

(Council consideration to award this contract for a traffic study.)
Approved.






7. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PARKS AND RECREATION DIRECTOR TO APPLY FOR $114,240.00 FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND RECREATION, VIRGINIA RECREATIONAL TRAILS FUND, FOR THE NORTHSIDE CONNECTOR BOARDWALK TRAIL.

(Council consideration to apply for a State grant to help pay for the Northside Connector Boardwalk Trail.)
Approved.






8. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE FAIRFAX COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD AND THE TOWN OF VIENNA, REGARDING THE USE, MAINTENANCE, SUPERVISION, AND MANAGEMENT OF WATERS FIELD AND CAFFI FIELD.

(Council consideration to execute a written agreement in place of verbal arrangements that have been in place for many years.)

9. LETTER RECEIVED FROM INGRID RAPAVY, RESIGNING FROM THE COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT COMMISSION AFTER A TWO YEAR TERM.
