PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 18, ZONING, ARTICLE 26, HISTORIC DISTRICTS, SECTION 18-280.2, BOUNDARIES, THROUGH THE REMOVAL OF 210 LAWYERS ROAD FROM THE WINDOVER HEIGHTS HISTORIC DISTRICT. ORIGINALLY REQUESTED IN PETITION FORMAT BEFORE THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL, AND FILED BY PMY ASSOCIATES.

(Council consideration to change the Historic District.)

Public Hearing closed; decision deferred to May 8, 2006.






6. CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED 2006 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.

(This Public Hearing was continued from the March 6 and the April 3, 2006 Council Meeting to allow the Department of Planning and Zoning to make changes, as suggested by Council Members.)

Public Hearing closed; Comprehensive Plan adopted.






7. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF A FINAL PLAT AND A WAIVER FROM THE INSTALLATION OF CURB, GUTTER AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS, FOR THE RESUBDIVISION OF THE MILLER PROPERTY, LOCATED AT 346 AYRHILL AVENUE, N.E. AND IN THE RS-16, SINGLE-FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENTIAL ZONE. FILED BY JOHN P. SEKAS, SEKAS HOMES, LTD., AGENT FOR THOMAS AND SUZANNE MILLER, OWNERS.

(Council consideration of this resubdivision, and waiving the developer’s requirement to do the curb, gutter, and sidewalk.)
