7. RESOLUTION TO PROCEED WITH MODIFICATION OF THE EXISTING CIVILIAN RETIREMENT PLAN.

8. ADOPTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF VIENNA, CHAPTER 9, MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, ARTICLE 1, IN GENERAL, BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION 9-10.1, DISTRIBUTION OF MATERIAL, SOLICITATION OF CONTRIBUTIONS AND SALE OF MERCHANDISE ON TOWN SECONDARY AND URBAN HIGHWAYS.

(Council consideration of a new Ordinance to prohibit solicitation at stop lights.)

9. SET DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF VIENNA, CHAPTER 9, MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, ARTICLE 1, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 9-13.2, PARKING OF WATERCRAFT, BOAT TRAILERS, MOTOR HOMES AND CAMPING TRAILERS PROHIBITED ON PUBLIC STREETS.

(At the request of Council, the proposed amendment is to be scheduled for Public Hearing.)

Public Hearing set for November 21, 2005.







10. SET DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF VIENNA, CHAPTER 6, FINANCE AND TAXATION, ARTICLE 3, CIGARETTE TAXATION, SECTION 6-16, DEFINITIONS, THROUGH SECTION 6-31.

(Council consideration to set a date for a Public Hearing. This does not affect the current cigarette tax rate.)
