5. PURCHASE OF TWO POLICE INTERCEPTORS, MODEL YEAR 2006.

{Council consideration of replacing two (2) Police Interceptor vehicles under the Vehicle Replacement Program.}

6. AUTHORIZATION TO PROCEED WITH TERMINATION OF THE EXISTING CIVILIAN RETIREMENT PLAN, AND ESTABLISHMENT OF A REPLACEMENT DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PLAN FOR NEWLY HIRED EMPLOYEES.

{Council consideration to authorize staff to proceed with this plan.}
Approved to proceed with implementation to transfer existing plan and establish a replacement defined contribution plan for formal presentation to Council.






7. REQUEST TO CONTINUE THE PURCHASE OF WATER METERS THROUGH HUGHES SUPPLY INC. AS A SOLE SOURCE SUPPLIER OF SENSUS WATER METERS.

{Council consideration to continue using the same supplier, because they are the only known manufacturer.}

8. AWARD OF IFB 05-14, STONE FOR STREET WORK, TO CHANTILLY CRUSHED STONE, INC.

{Council consideration to use this company, the lowest bidder, for the purchase of stone.}
Approved.






9. AUTHORIZATION TO CONTINUE RIDING STAFFORD COUNTY, VIRGINIA CONTRACT FOR WORK UNIFORM RENTAL SERVICE, RUGS, DUST MOPS, AND ACCESSORIES TO G&K SERVICES.

{Council consideration to keep riding this contract, which was extended until June 16, 2006.}
