5. APPEAL OF THE WINDOVER HEIGHTS BOARD OF REVIEW DENIAL FOR A REQUEST FOR A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR THE PREVIOUS REPLACEMENT OF ROTTING HARDBOARD SIDING WITH FLAT NATURAL STONE AT 288 WINDOVER AVENUE, N.W.
(Council’s consideration of the homeowner’s appeal of the Board’s decision.)

6. PRESENTATION FROM VIENNA YOUTH INC. AND VIENNA BABE RUTH REGARDING THE REPLACEMENT OF THE NATURAL TURF AT WATERS FIELD WITH SYNTHETIC TURF.

7. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF A FINAL PLAT TO RESUBDIVIDE 2 COMBINED PARCELS OF LAND AT THE CORNER OF PLEASANT STREET AND COURTHOUSE ROAD S.W., INTO A 3 LOT SUBDIVISION.
(Council consideration of 3 new houses to be addressed as 230 and 234 Pleasant Street and 205 Courthouse Road, S.W.)

8. CHANGE ORDER #9, MAPLE AVENUE ENHANCEMENT PROJECT, TO PROVIDE FINAL PAYMENT, INCLUDING MATERIAL AND COST OVERRUNS, TO VERIZON.
(Council consideration of making the final payment to Verizon for undergrounding the telephone utilities on Maple Avenue from Park Street to Follin Lane.)

9. REQUEST APPROVAL TO ACCEPT THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES EDWARD BYRNE/ COMMUNITY ORIENTED JUSTICE GRANT #06-A4799AD05 IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,000.00.
(Council consideration of the Town of Vienna Police Department’s acceptance of funding for part of the Records Management System, for which a local match of $12,500.00 would be required.)

10. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL TO AWARD IFB 05-13 TO RENEGADE HARLEY DAVIDSON FOR THE PURCHASE OF 3 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLHPI POLICE MOTORCYCLES.

12. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FUTURE DEBT ISSUE PROCEEDS TO REIMBURSE CAPITAL PROJECT EXPENDITURES MADE IN ADVANCE.
(Council consideration of making this resolution of official intent to reimburse expenditures with the proceeds of a borrowing.)

13. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT THROUGH A CAPITAL LEASE IN FISCAL YEAR ENDING 2006.
(Council consideration of making this resolution to authorize the capital lease financing of equipment being replaced in Fiscal Year Ending 2006.)

14. CONSIDERATION OF SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT: ADVERTISING IN THE WASHINGTON POST AND THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER.
(Council consideration to continue using these newspapers for employee recruitment, legal, and procurement advertising.)

15. RENEWAL OF FINANCIAL SYSTEM SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE SUPPORT BY SUNGARD/ PENTAMATION ENTERPRISES, INC. FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING 2006.
(Council consideration to renew this contract with the company which purchased, customized, and installed their central financial system.)

16. APPOINTMENT OF MRS. TARA VOIGHT TO THE TRANSPORTATION SAFETY COMMISSION, AND MRS. DEBORAH BREHONY TO THE BOARD OF ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW.
(Council consideration of these individuals to serve on these boards for two year terms, beginning this month.)
