5. PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ORDINANCES TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF VIENNA, VIRGINIA, CHAPTER 18, ZONING, ARTICLE 2, DEFINITIONS, SECTION 18-4, DEFINITIONS BY REVISING THE DEFINITION FOR “TRAILER” AND BY ADDING A DEFINITION FOR “MANUFACTURED HOME, PUBLIC USE” AND “TRAILER, PUBLIC USE.” ADDITIONALLY, AMEND CHAPTER 18, ZONING, ARTICLE 17, ACCESSORY BUILDINGS, SWIMMING POOLS, AND PRIVATE PARKING AREA, SECTION 18-143, TRAILER NOT AN ACCESSORY BUILDING, BY ADDING “MANUFACTURED HOME” TO THAT LIST OF USES NOT CONSIDERED TO BE AN ACCESSORY BUILDING OR DWELLING. ALSO, AMEND CHAPTER 18, ZONING, ARTICLE 18, SUPPLEMENTAL REGULATIONS, SECTION 18-152, TRAILERS, AND ADD A NEW SECTION 18-152.2, “PUBLIC USE TRAILERS AND MANUFACTURED HOMES.”

The six ordinances pertain to the use of temporary trailers and manufactured homes, and address issues related to schools, government, and public safety uses.
(Public Hearing closed; Ordinances approved; to be placed on Town Council agenda of January 24, 2005 for adoption.)





6. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF A FINAL PLAT AND WAIVER FROM THE REQUIREMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF CURB, GUTTER AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE PROPOSED RE-SUBDIVISION OF 2 LOTS ON CENTER STREET SOUTH.

Council consideration of a final plat for three new homes on the East side of Center Street, South.
(Final Plat approved; waiver of public improvements approved.)





7. ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE MONTH OF JANUARY, 2005 AS NATIONAL MENTORING MONTH.

Council consideration of a Resolution proclaiming the month of January, 2005 as National Mentoring Month in the Town of Vienna.
