5. RECOMMENDATION FROM THE TRANSPORTATION SAFETY COMMISSION FOR CROSSWALK ON MILL STREET, N.E. BETWEEN MAPLE AVENUE AND CHURCH STREET
(While Vienna Presbyterian Church undergoes major construction, they are renting facilities at the Wright Building for offices, classrooms, and meeting rooms. They have requested a temporary crosswalk, mid-block on Mill Street, during the construction period.)

6. RECOMMENDATION FROM THE TRANSPORTATION SAFETY COMMISSION FOR TRAFFIC CALMING ON ST. ANDREWS DRIVE, N.E.
(Residents of St. Andrews Drive, N.E. have petitioned for the installation of two (2) speed humps on their street. The T.S.C. recommends one modified speed hump, and coordination of the recently installed traffic signal at Route 123 and Horseshoe Drive with the other nearby signals.)

7. APPROVAL TO RIDE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE 2005, IMPALA 4 DOOR SEDAN, UNDER THE APPROVED TOWN OF VIENNA VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS.
(This vehicle would replace vehicle number 50, and would be purchased under Commonwealth of Virginia contract #2070-50, from R.K. Chevrolet of Virginia Beach, with an estimated cost of $15,376.00.)

8. APPROVAL TO RIDE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE 2005 FORD F150 MODEL HALF-TON PICKUP TRUCK, UNDER THE TOWN OF VIENNA VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM, FOR THE WATER AND SEWER DIVISION.
(This would replace vehicle number 44, and would be purchased under Commonwealth of Virginia contract #6100-50A, from Colonial Ford Truck Sales, Inc. of Richmond, Virginia, with an estimated cost of $12,531.79.)

9. Request Approval of Council to accept proposal of E.G. Painting Company, 330 Lorraine Avenue, Essex, Maryland, to do light touch up paint on the Interior and Exterior of the Frederick Street Elevated Water Tank.
(This company was the lowest bidder, with a quote of $12,750.00.)

APPROVED.





10. REQUEST APPROVAL TO ENTER A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH TML COPIERS, RIDING PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS CONTRACT #RDJ-2035.
(The Police Department requests permission to lease two Konica 7022 copiers which are more modern and efficient than the ones they have now, with monthly service agreements for maintenance, and to purchase the Sharp 287 copier which has reached the end of its lease.)

APPROVED.





11. REQUEST APPROVAL TO RIDE FAIRFAX COUNTY CONTRACT #BL05-742559-23A-B TO LEASE VEHICLES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
(It is requested that funds budgeted in the Fiscal Year 2004-2005 budget, supplemented by Asset Forfeiture Funds, be approved to lease vehicles for narcotics and gang investigations and other directed patrol or surveillance activities.)
