5. PRESENTATION BY FAIRFAX COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT REGARDING WEST NILE VIRUS.
Mr. Carl Severtsen from the Fairfax County Health Department will present a program on West Nile Virus, covering issues such as preventive measures, recognition, etc.

6. PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE FYE 2004 BUDGET.
A Public Hearing will be held tonight to consider appropriating $663,390.00 from the General Fund balance of fiscal year ending 2003, in order to supplement the fiscal year ending 2004’s General Fund Budget. These appropriations represent year-end purchase order balances and account budgetary balances requested by the departments to be carried forward from last fiscal year into the next fiscal year.

7. CONSIDERATION OF THE JOSEPH BERRY HOUSE, 200 CHURCH STREET N.E., AS A TOWN OF VIENNA DESIGNATED HISTORIC SITE.
Joseph Berry, original owner of the house which was built in 1898, did the surveying for the Ayrhill Subdivision and Windover Heights. He was a prominent local business man and served as a Councilman and as the Mayor of Vienna. Mrs. Berry organized the Ayrhill Garden Club and held their first meeting at the house in 1929.

8. REQUEST TO EXTEND PURCHASE OF WATER METERS TO A SOLE SOURCE SUPPLIER, INVENSYS.
Council’s consideration to award contract to Invensys, formerly Sensus Technologies, Inc., for water meters as a sole source supplier.

9. Award of July 4th Fireworks Display Contract.
Council’s consideration to award the 4th of July Fireworks Display contract to Schaefer Pyrotechnics, Inc.

10. NUTLEY STREET MAINTENANCE BUILDING INTERIOR RENOVATION, AWARD OF MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING CONTRACT.
Council’s consideration to award IFB 04-09 for a plumbing and mechanical contract for the interior renovation of the Nutley Street Property Yard’s maintenance building.

11. RECOMMENDATION TO THE FAIRFAX COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS OF INDIVIDUALS TO SERVE AS ELECTION OFFICERS FOR THE MAY 4, 2004 TOWN ELECTION.
Recommendation to the Fairfax County Board of Elections for a slate of Election Officers for the May 4th Town Election.

12. APPROVAL OF LETTER TO MR. ALTON MILLER, POSTMASTER OF THE VIENNA POST OFFICE, REQUESTING THAT DIALOGUE BEGIN TOWARDS PROVIDING IMPROVEMENT TO THE 200 LAWYERS ROAD, N.W. FACILITY, AND FOR SAFER TRAFFIC PATTERNS.
Council’s consideration of a letter to Mr. Alton Miller, Postmaster, regarding safer traffic patterns at the Post Office’s parking lot entrance and improvement to Post Office facility.

13. CONSIDERATION OF TEA-21 GRANT APPLICATIONS.
Grant application for TEA-21 funds for the following projects:
1. Maple Avenue Project, Section 1 of Phase 4. (Lawyers Road /Courthouse Road to Pleasant Street)
2. New Sidewalk Construction Program.
3. Northside Park Pedestrian Connector Trail.
