(The Council will consider the recommendations of the Transportation Safety Commission to increase pedestrian safety at the crosswalk on Lawyers Road, N.W., near the Vienna Post Office.)

7. APPROVAL OF SIGNAGE FOR “EARTH AND FIRE” AT 144 CHURCH STREET, N.W. (“VISION PROJECT NUMBER 1”) IN THE C-1B PEDESTRIAN ZONING DISTRICT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 18, ZONING, SECTIONS 18-87.4 THROUGH 18-87.6. FILED BY BETH WILEY OF “EARTH AND FIRE”
(The Council will consider approval of signage for a new business on Church Street, located at 144 Church Street N.W.)

8. APPROVAL OF THE RELEASE OF PEG FUNDS FOR I-NET FIBER OPTIC EXPENSES
(The Council will consider approval of the release of PEG funds to pay Cox Communications and Columbia Telecommunications Corporation a total of $14,998.44 for installation and testing.)

9. Approval of Data and Voice Cabling for the Community Center, Police Department, and the Bowman House.
(The Council will consider approval of a contract with Quality Communications to provide data and voice cabling at the Police Department, the Community Center, and the Bowman House buildings in an amount not to exceed $61,270.22.)

10. AUTHORIZATION FROM COUNCIL TO AWARD RFP 03-02 ENGINEERING SERVICES PROPOSAL TO WHITMAN, REQUARDT & ASSOCIATES, LLP.
(The Council will consider awarding RFP 03-02 for Engineering Services to Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP for a period of one year.)

11. APPROVAL OF PROCLAMATION HONORING NEW UNION BAPTIST CHURCH ON ITS 100TH ANNIVERSARY
(The Council will consider approval of a Proclamation to honor New Union Baptist Church of 205 Pleasant Street, S.W., Vienna, Virginia on its 100th Anniversary.)

12. REQUEST TO HAVE ENGINEERING PLANS PREPARED FOR CURB, GUTTER, SIDEWALK, AND DRAINAGE FACILITIES ON TALAHI ROAD, S.E.
(The Council will consider adding the Talahi Road, S.E. Vienna project to the list of sidewalk construction projects now under engineering design.)

13. SET DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND CHAPTER 18, ZONING, ARTICLE 2, DEFINITIONS, AND ARTICLE 4, GENERAL REGULATIONS AS TO USES, HEIGHTS, AND AREA OF THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF VIENNA PERTAINING TO “MANUFACTURED HOMES” AND THE PROHIBITION THEREOF.
(The Council will consider setting a date for a Public Hearing to amend the definitions and regulations regarding “Manufactured Homes.”)

14. REFERRAL TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE PROPERTY OWNER’S REQUEST TO REMOVE THE SUBJECT PROPERTY ADDRESSED AS 346 WINDOVER AVENUE, N.W. FROM THE WINDOVER HEIGHTS HISTORIC DISTRICT
(Council’s consideration to refer to the Planning Commission for recommendation of the request to remove 346 Windover Avenue N.W. from the Windover Heights Historic District.) APPROVED.


15. REFERRAL TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE PROPERTY OWNER’S REQUEST TO REMOVE THE SUBJECT PROPERTY ADDRESSED AS 224 WALNUT LANE, N.W. AND 222 LOVERS LANE N.W. FROM THE WINDOVER HEIGHTS HISTORIC DISTRICT

17. COUNCIL APPROVED FUNDS FOR PURCHASE OF OFFICE FURNITURE FOR THE TOWN ATTORNEY IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,525.00.


18. COUNCIL APPROVED FUNDS TO PURCHASE FAX MACHINE AND LASER PRINTER FOR THE GENERAL DISTRICT COURT CLERK IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,000.00.
