5. RECOMMENDATION FROM THE TRANSPORTATION SAFETY COMMISSION ON A PETITION FOR SPEED HUMPS ON GLYNDON STREET, S.E.
The Council will consider a recommendation from the Transportation Safety Commission on a petition for speed humps on Glyndon Street, S.E.
Referred back to TSC for consideration of alternatives, with emphasis on the volume of speeding during rush hours.
6. BOWMAN HOUSE VERTICAL LIFT REPLACEMENT
The Council will consider awarding IFB 03-08 in the amount of $11,250.00 to Consolidated Elevator, Inc. for the replacement of the Bowman House vertical wheelchair lift.
IFB 03-08 awarded to Consolidated Elevator Inc. for $11,250.00.
7. SET DATE FOR A CLOSED SESSION – MATTERS OF REAL ESTATE
The Council will consider convening in a closed session to discuss matters of real estate and personnel as outlined in the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Code sections 2.1-344 (A)(3) and (1).
The Closed Session has been set for 2/3/03 at 7:15 p.m.
