10. RECOMMENDATION FROM THE TRANSPORTATION SAFETY COMMISSION FOR TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES FOR MOORE AVENUE, SE AND SW
The Council will consider a recommendation from the Transportation Safety Commission for traffic calming measures for Moore Avenue, SE and SW, particularly the installation of two speed tables (pillows).
Item deferred to 10/7/02.
11. RECOMMENDATION FROM THE TRANSPORTATION SAFETY COMMISSION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF FLEXIBLE BOLLARDS ON PARK STREET AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE W&OD TRAIL
The Council will consider a recommendation from the Transportation Safety Commission for the installation of flexible bollards on Park Street at the intersection of the W&OD Trail.
Recommendation approved.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR TOWN MAINTENANCE AT MACARTHUR SUBDIVISION
The Council will consider acceptance of public improvements for Town maintenance at MacArthur Subdivision.
Public improvements accepted.
13. AWARD OF IFB 03-03 FOR HVAC MAINTENANCE
The Council will consider awarding IFB 03-03 for HVAC maintenance to PMB Limbach in an amount not to exceed $30,955.92 for all Town-owned buildings.
Contract awarded to PMB Limbach.
14. APPROVAL TO RIDE FAIRFAX COUNTY CONTRACT #BL9800029812A WITH LONG FENCING AND FENCE PARTS TO INSTALL FENCING AROUND THE NORTHSIDE PROPERTY YARD
The Council will consider riding the Fairfax County contract #BL9800029812A with Long Fencing and Fence Parts to install fencing around the Northside Property Yard in an amount not to exceed $30,000 for materials and labor.
Approved to ride Fairfax County contract with Long Fence.
15. APPROVAL TO RIDE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA CONTRACT #34063 TO PURCHASE ONE 2003 FORD MODEL 1-TON CREW CAB, IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED TOWN OF VIENNA VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
The Council will consider riding the Commonwealth of Virginia Contract #34063 to purchase a 2003 Ford model 1-ton crew cab, in accordance with approved Town of Vienna Vehicle Replacement Program in an estimated amount of $33,751.00.
Approved to ride Commonwealth of Virginia’s contract to purchase vehicle.
16. APPROVAL TO RIDE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA CONTRACT #2070-30 TO PURCHASE ONE CHEVROLET IMPALA IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED TOWN OF VIENNA VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
The Council will consider riding the Commonwealth of Virginia contract #2070-30 to purchase one Chevrolet Impala in accordance with the approved Town of Vienna Vehicle Replacement Program in an estimated amount of $14,923.00.

17. AWARD OF IFB 03-05, MANHOLE RISER RINGS
The Council will consider awarding IFB 03-05, Manhole Riser Rings, to East Jordan Works in the amount of $9,615.75.

18. AWARD OF IFB 03-04, HYDRAULIC CEMENT CONCRETE
The Council will consider awarding IFB 03-04, Hydraulic Cement Concrete to Cardinal Concrete Company in an estimated amount of $26,465.00.
Contract awarded to Cardinal Concrete Company.
19. ADOPTION OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 6, SECTION 1 AND SECTION 2 (TAX RELIEF FOR THE ELDERLY AND HANDICAPPED)
The Council will consider adopting a proposed ordinance to amend Chapter 6, Finance and Taxation; Article 1, In General; Section 6-4.2, Eligibility for Exemption or Deferral and Section 6-4.3, Application for Exemption or Deferral – Affidavit.
