Record Section Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 3PM, Closed Holidays.
If you are the victim or complainant in a case investigated by the department, our Record's Section can provide you with a confirmation of that case, at no charge. It is best to call ahead at 703-255-6324 to request a copy and then pick up the confirmation report in person, with picture type identification in hand. Insurance companies and law firms can obtain the confirmation report for $3.00. Law firms must submit a letter confirming they represent one of the parties involved. Request by mail can be sent to address above, checks should be made payable to the Town of Vienna. We cannot release the actual case report copy, except when court ordered through a Subpoena Ducas Tecum.
Vehicle type accident report, if you have been involved in an accident that is reportable, we can provide you with a full copy of the actual DMV report made by the Officer, at no charge. Insurance companies and law firms, must pay a $3.00 fee for the accident report, checks payable to the Town of Vienna. Insurance companies can mail a request to: Vienna Police, Records Clerk, 215 Center Street, South, Vienna, VA 22180. Citizens involved in the accident must appear in person at the above address, Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM. After the record section hours we can leave a report for you, if you call ahead to arrange this. The Police Department is never closed, please bring a driver's license for identification. Fingerprinting services are provided to citizens who live or work within the Town limits of Vienna. There is no fee, but an appointment is necessary. Please contact Officer Murray at 703-255-6396, to schedule an appointment.
Criminal History Reports provide an individual with a local record check on his or her own records. The report provides all adult conviction data listed in Vienna's records system (we do not provide a county, state, or national check). There is no charge for this service, please visit the police department at the above address, during the hours provided for this service. You must at least 18 years of age to request the report, and bring picture type identification. Sorry we cannot FAX or mail this report.
